The Chinese smartphone manufacturer LeEco has been keeping a rather low profile lately, likely due to some suggested financial issues. However, despite the lack of any official news from the smartphone maker, its activities have been the subject of a few leaks, mostly dealing with the coming dual camera setup models. Well, the silence is officially broken with today’s announcement. The company has announced the LeEco Le Pro3 Elite Smartphone officially.
The name suggests that the new smartphone offer is a variant of the last year LeEco Le Pro3 smartphone. However the adding of the “Elite” title is a little confusing, since there is nothing really good about the new upcoming smartphone. The last year model features a Qualomm Snapdragon 821 processor has been swapped foe a Snapdragon 820 processor and the NFC is now absent from the specs list.
The rest of the features and specs will remain unchanged and include a 5.5 inch LCD display with the screen resolution of 1080 pixels. The smartphone also features a 16 megapixel rear camera and 4GB of high speed RAM along with 32 GB of built-in storage setup. On the plus side, the user getting a fairly massive 4,070mAh battery capacity and will come with 3 months of free subscription to LeEco’s streaming services with the phone.
The LeEco Le Pro3 Elite Smartphone is already available at Iemall.com at the price if CNY 1699 or just around $240. The smartphone appears the chipset downgrade and lack of NFC have actually helped shave off a good $30 from the original LeEco Le Pro3, which is currently priced at CNY 1899.
