Samsung has just announced Nougat operating system update for its last year smartphone, touted as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. The update brings 7.0 version of Nougat OS and also carries a firmware version of G610FDDU1BQH9, and weighs in at 1143.09MB.

As for refresh, the smartphone features a 5.5 inches PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen display that carries the support for 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution at 401 ppi pixel density. Previously, the phone runs on Android Marshmallow operating system and now it is updated with the seventh generation Nougat OS, as mentioned earlier.
The phone is powered by the Exynos 7870 Octa core processor, which is having a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz and coupled with the Mali-T830MP2 graphic processor. The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM along with either a 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage. If you need more storage, you can put a microSD card that helps you to expand the storage up to 256GB.
In terms of optics, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash support. While on the front, there is an 8-megapixel front facing camera with the same f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone houses a Non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery that claimed to offer up to 21 hours of talk time usage and up to 84 hours of music play back. The phone is available in three color options: Black, Gold, and Rose Gold.
