Sony has announced its super mid-range handset called Sony Xperia XA1 Smartphone at Mobile World Congress MWC 2017. And finally, the smartphone will available to pre-order through Amazon and Best Buy. The affordable smartphone with decent features and specs will retail $299.99. The phone will be available at other retailers, such as B&H and Fry’s on Mat 1st, 2017.
Sony Xperia XA1 Smartphone Features
The smartphone features a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with the screen resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at 294 ppi pixel density. The mid-range phone runs on the latest generation Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 octa core processor coupled with Mali-T880MP2 graphic processor. Regarding the storage and memory, the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of MicroSD card.
As far as the camera concerned, the phone comes with a stunning 23 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection, laser autofocus, and LED flash. On the front of the device, there is an 8 megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies. Other features included geo-tagging, touch focus, face/ smile detection, HDR, and panorama.
The budget phone boasts a non-removable Li-ion 2,300mAh battery that comes with the support for Pump Express + 2.0 fast battery charging technology. The phone is available in four color options: white, black, gold, and pink.
