Synology has launched their newest 12-bay NAS server, the new DiskStation DS3617xs. Delivering outstanding 2,358MB/s sequential throughput reading, its most powerful offering yet. With an aim to deliver a high performance, the new NAS server is equipped with an Intel Xeon D-1527 quad-core processor with a base clock of 2.2 GHz and a 2.7 GHz boost clock.
Certified for VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V and OpenStack, this business-friendly NAS server is just equipped with 2x Expansion ports, 4x Gigabit LAN ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x PCIe 3.0 x8 slot to support an optional 10GbE Network Interface Card (NIC) and 2x built-in 120mm fans.
It is capable of highly impressive write speeds as well, Hitting 2,000 MB/s. Packing 16GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, the DiskStation DS3617xs ensures data accuracy when handling high-value data and mission-critical tasks.
